We are seeking an experienced B2B marketer to lead the company’s strategy and vision as it relates to its top line growth. Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Director of Demand Generation is responsible for developing and executing a scalable, repeatable process for generating pipeline for each of the segments that Andela operates in. The ideal candidate needs to be strategic and tactical,  capable of defining our ABM strategy and running a hands on marketing team that drives customer acquisition day to day.



  • Build a high performing, metrics driven demand generation team
  • Spearhead marketing initiatives such as Account-Based Marketing and lead-nurturing and lead scoring
  • Uplevel both our field marketing and content marketing efforts
  • Determine the channel mix (email, display, sponsored content, SEO, PPC, field marketing) needed to drive pipeline for each of our customer segments
  • Continually test, with your team, the efficacy of the channels and mix to maximize ROAS and drive MQLs
  • Maintain a feedback loop between sales & marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns and identify opportunities for pipeline acceleration and sales conversions
  • Implement and refine lead nurturing and lead scoring programs
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to improve productivity of our sales team; particularly as it relates to nurturing relationships with the accounts in their respective territories
  • Work with Product Marketing to build and optimize lead generation content strategy based upon the buyer journey
  • Partner with Sales Operations on definitions, SLAs, lead routing and marketing ops stack


  • 10+ years of experience in progressive Marketing roles at the senior management level within a technology or software development company
  • Proven success leading a demand generation team in order to drive tangible results
  • Expertise running account-based marketing programs with sales, ideally at scale
  • Expertise in building a content marketing engine from scratch
  • Experience selling solutions to a technical audience
  • Have a track record of successfully testing and scaling campaigns
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Being a good person; we have a “no jerk” policy at Andela
  • Prior accountability for pipeline generation
  • Highly analytical and data driven



  • Within your first 30 days you will immerse yourself in Andela’s business, our current marketing programs, the tests we have run and their overall effectiveness
  • Within your first 60 days, you will develop a prioritized demand generation plan, a point of view on the key hires and the order in which you need to hire them
