The Director of Finance, Talent will report to FP&A and will be responsible for supporting Andela’s Talent Business Unit. They will oversee models for new products or sales initiatives, partner with the Talent team through the budgeting and forecasting process and leverage data to provide strategic advice to the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and report risks and opportunities for the Talent Business Unit
  • Provide financial guidance and strategic partnership to the Talent Business Unit leaders 
  • Maintain and monitor performance metrics to drive accountability and transparency
  • Create and maintain the models for all new business initiatives
  • Understand the business and influence key decision-makers through meaningful insight and analysis
  • Manage the yearly Budget and quarterly re-forecast process for the Talent BU(Includes Revenue and expense forecasting and headcount planning)
  • Manage the P&Ls and have monthly financial check-ins with the business to analyze results
  • Responsible for monthly executive reporting and presentation of results for the BU
  • Collaborate with and build relationships across the organization, including within the FP&A team
  • Ensure finance diligence and integrity with all deliverables

Requirements:

  • 10+ progressive experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;  MBA preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Excel proficiency as it pertains to financial modeling and financial planning
  • A self-starter with outstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment
  • Hands on experience with NetSuite
  • Experience with Oracle NSPB a plus
