About the role:

In this role, You will lead a distributed team of technical recruiters, executing hiring for elite talent across the globe for our own high caliber talent network - and partner with key stakeholders across the organization to achieve this in the most effective manner. This opportunity is ideal for talent acquisition managers in high-growth tech and start-up space across technical hiring, and ideal for levelling-up in international exposure.

 

What you will do:

  • Manage a high-performing and distributed technical recruiting team focused on hiring talent for our high caliber talent network
  • Partner with our Assessment and Matching teams globally to solve for improving quality of hires, diversity, candidate experience and Andela branding;
  • Leverage data and metrics to measure recruiting performance, continuously improve our sourcing/recruiting strategy and analyze impact
  • Source and manage agency and other 3rd party relationships

 

What you should have:

  • 5+ years of high volume recruitment experience- preferably in a tech company
  • In-depth experience leading a recruiting team/function, with strong strategic, people managerial and tactical execution exposure
  • The ambition to be a key driver in Andela’s talent network hiring as we enter into a period of unprecedented growth, desire to be embedded in our technical teams
  • Experience actively sourcing and engaging engineering talent across various platforms (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Github, Angelist, and others) - as you manage a group deep diving across countries to uncover top talent
  • A combination of an experience-oriented and data-driven approach
  • Understanding of how to best use different technology/tools to optimize a rapidly scaling Engineer workforce;
  • Strong time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and teams in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent knowledge and passion about Andela’s mission and vision. Able to convincingly sell Andela’s opportunity to prospective employees;
