Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Model Performance Specialist to join our Model Optimisation team. Get involved in a highly visible, large-scale SaaS cloud company.

Your Impact

Drive Anaplan model reviews that support our customers in finance, sales performance, and supply chain planning.

You will be required to model sophisticated problems, collaborate to answer hard-to-solve questions, and effectively uncover sources of slow performance in customer models. Strong curiosity, analytics skills, and the capacity to adapt to a scaling organisation are key to your success.

Throughout your time at Anaplan, you will:

  • Provide concise and informative suggestions to improve Anaplan model performance
  • Influence the customer product experience by translating data into insights and business value
  • Develop expertise in various functions by using data to support strategic and operational decision-making in Anaplan models
  • Model sophisticated business scenarios using the Anaplan platform to replicate their performance issues
  • Consult on architectural standard methodologies for connected planning solutions
  • Develop and abide by standard methodologies for scalable best practices
  • Opportunity to grow into higher roles with additional technical responsibility

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with high levels of autonomy, accountability, and integrity
  • Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Operations, Accounting, etc.) or highly technical field (Engineering, mathematics, data analytics, etc.)
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, you will need to liaise with the customer to gain information on their issues and provide solutions both in written form, and in meetings
  • Demonstrate a sophisticated approach through expert problem solving and handling complex investigation into issues
  • Be an interdisciplinary team member who is innovative, accountable, reliable, and able to thrive in a constantly evolving environment

Preferred Skills

  • 1-3 years building and using Anaplan models, as you will be diving deep into their structures
  • Customer or Consulting experience, or academic research in a technical field (economics, engineering, science, math, etc.)
