Anaplan is hiring an ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – FINANCIAL SERVICES to drive growth and value in the Ohio territory. In this role, you will take your proven track record of selling cloud technology solutions and your account management skills to sell a broad, transformational planning platform. Our sales team is helping industry leaders understand the impact of Anaplan and how use of our connected planning platform increases agility, improves the speed of decision making, and drives higher revenue, lower costs, and decreased risk. You will help leading financial services companies achieve their immediate business goals while setting them up for long term value creation.
This role will be a catalyst to Anaplan’s growth. You will report to the Regional Vice President (RVP), Banking & Insurance East.
The Ohio territory includes a mix of customers and prospects, including companies like: American Financial Group, Bread Financial, Cincinnati Financial, Fifth Third Bank, Huntington Banc, KeyBank, Nationwide, Progressive, and Western & Southern.
This territory requires someone to further build our footprint by hunting and locking in new logos as well as rapidly growing opportunities within the current customer base.
Your Impact
- Create effective territory and account plans to drive a cross-functional strategy for growth
- Build pipeline by identifying transformation projects and broken business processes, and positioning Anaplan’s unique ability to solve the problem
- Build Anaplan’s value throughout the selling engagement, navigating sophisticated environments to align the prospect around our platform
- Conduct effective presentations from Director through SVP and key C-suite decision makers (CFOs, CROs, CHRO/CPOs)
- Own opportunity management start-to-finish across prospects and customers
- Apply Anaplan’s value-based selling methodology and tools to run efficient sales processes and to accurately forecast business
- Work with cross-functional members of Sales Development Reps, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and the Customer Success teams
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years consultative sales experience into financial services companies, selling SaaS solutions
- Shown success selling into VP/SVP level buyers
- Track record of overachieving sales quota & targets, including demonstrated history of multiple high six-figure annual contract value (ACV) software deals
- Demonstrated network in the financial services industry in Ohio
- Demonstrated experience with sophisticated partner and internal team organizations
- Domain understanding (FP&A, Sales Planning, Workforce Planning) and knowledge of how these functions plan, process work and make decisions
- Strong, demonstrated opportunity management practices (e.g. MEDDPICC qualification, executive presentation skills, quote presentation and negotiation), and ability to balance multiple (5-8) opportunities at once
- Business, Finance, Economics, accounting or related BS/BA degree or relevant years of experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the pressing business challenges faced by financial services organizations today

- Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, a plus
