Brief Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead marketing for Amwell’s joint venture with Cleveland Clinic, which is a first-of-its-kind initiative to provide broad access to comprehensive and high-acuity care services via telehealth, combining the best of digital health technology with the services of a globally recognized health system, recently ranked #2 in the world by Newsweek. This marketing leader would oversee all marketing activities for the joint venture, including development of the marketing strategy, partnering with sales to drive lead generation, branding and advertising, partnering with the product team on market launch, market insights and analysis, and developing new partnerships to drive success for new products, both in the U.S. and internationally. We’re looking for a dynamic, influential leader who will in turn get the opportunity to drive the market success of the new venture.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall marketing strategy and planning for the joint venture, including B2B marketing (health plans, employers) and Direct-to-Consumer marketing
  • Define metrics and tracking processes to manage performance against goals
  • Lead branding activities, working with any outside agencies
  • Oversee product marketing for new products and programs
  • Partner with sales on lead generation strategy, campaigns, business development and inside sales
  • Oversee consumer engagement, working closely with internal agency teams
  • Manage partner marketing and build new beneficial relationships
  • Some travel (~20% when non-essential travel resumes)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS, MBA preferred
  • Prior healthcare and technology experience; experience with health plans and benefits markets ideal
  • 10+ years of work experience
  • Project management skills
