The Contracts Administrator will play a key role on Amplitude’s legal team by managing the contract process under the direction of the VP of Legal. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for contributing to a successful contracts management program that is responsive to the business needs of the organization while managing risk and adhering to company policies. The Contracts Administrator will also be responsible for creating order forms, managing databases and routing contracts for review and execution. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing numerous contracts at one time while remaining responsive to internal clients and managing expectations effectively.
Input and maintain executed agreements within multiple contracts management and filing systems
Update records in various formats across multiple databases
Assist with screening, processing and administration of certain standardized agreements
Be the primary point of contact to Sales team to answer routine questions regarding agreements
Be the primary point of contact for Legal and Enterprise Systems teams to resolve issues related to agreement records and CLM database
Independently manages and completes projects (e.g., generates monthly metric reports, creates new agreement types, and manages the updating of templates, etc.)
Sets project time frames and priorities based on project objectives and ongoing assignments
Work on various projects assigned by direct manager to improve/optimize internal operating procedures
Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in contract administration for SaaS company (or similar) and will be able to offer sound judgment on key decisions in developing the contracts administration function
B.A. or B.S. degree required
Willingness to do hands on work, ability to handle uncertainty and ability to help further define the function as it relates to a changing environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills enabling production of quality results
A high level of office maturity, professionalism, integrity, reliability, discretion and confidentiality
A high degree of familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Documents
Experience with contract management solutions and Salesforce
Familiarity with DropBox, or other similar tools, a plus
A proactive, collaborative and flexible mindset is essential
