Job Description:

We're looking for a highly motivated Electrical System Engineer to join our team. You
will define the requirements of all Electrical interfaces. Work with SW and ME team
to ensure all aircraft components have clearly defined electrical interfaces. Ensure all
interfaces and harnessing is designed and routed with EMI/EMC and other
environmental conditions in mind. Manage our supplier/partner Interface
requirements. Define and review their Qualification, Verification Test procedures and

Required Qualifications:

+ 6+ years of increasing responsibilities
+ Aircraft electrical systems design to DO-160, DO-254 and ARP 4761
+ Familiarity with FAA certification requirements for electrical systems
+ Familiar with avionics design including controls, displays, human/machine
interfaces, thermal management, cabling and connectors
+ Experience with defining processes, procedures and tools used for electrical
system development, validation, integration, and verification
+ Familiarity with reliability analysis and methodologies such as MIL-HDBK-217 and
+ Review and approve FMEAs, FTAs, and FHA
+ Experience with full product development life cycle
+ Strong working knowledge of system integration and verification activities;
including requirement validation reviews, test procedure development, automated
test development and execution, and verification coverage analysis
+ Experience using requirements management software. Jama experience preferred
+ Experience with Hardware EMI/EMC and Lightning qualification per RTCA\DO-160
+ Support the development and conduct of informal and formal design reviews such
as SRR, PDR, and CDR
+ Demonstrated strong strategic thinking and communication skills
+ Demonstrated strong decision-making skills
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of managers and general users
+ Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization to achieve
organizational objectives
+ Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from other
+ Able to actively participate in multi-disciplined functional teams
+ Able to communicate project status updates in a team environment
+ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Matlab, requirements
management tools, and project management applications
+ Able to effectively plan, organize and complete work with minimal supervision
+ Able to communicate complex technical information to other departments and
+ Highly motivated to provide project deliverables on time and be able to establish
priorities when multiple deliverables coincide
+ Passionate about engineering product development process Improvement and
assist In developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Electrical

Desired Qualifications:

+ MSEE or higher in Electrical Engineering
+ Your experience includes working with or testing electric vehicles (of any kind)
+ Experience with Matlab Simulink
+ You have knowledge of batteries, electric machines specific power electronics
+ Projects oriented towards power and energy systems, including vehicles and their
powertrain systems are highly desirable
+ You are experienced with embedded systems programming.
+ You are comfortable working with your hands, and are familiar with shop
+ You have a general understanding of thermal and mechanical systems
