Reporting to leaders in the Intelligent Automation division, the RPA Developer will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Amitech’s automation projects and timelines.

Your Performance Objectives – What You Will Accomplish

Objective #1:

Within your first 3 months, you will establish/fill a billable role on one or more Automation projects

  • Deliver: Leverage your RPA skillset to begin contributing in a billable role, utilizing UiPath products, including AI Center, ML Skills, Test Suite, and Insights Analytics.
  • Unit Tests: Develop unit tests alongside RPA workflows and components.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with business analysts and business users.
  • Engage: Proactively seek guidance, and feedback from technical leads.
  • Document and Support: Update documentation to reflect design changes and implementation decisions. Create operational process, support, and maintenance documentation.
  • Testing Together: Partner with testers to ensure effective test coverage and test automation.
  • Compliance: Comply with RPA development best practices. Follow methodology standards, including logging, auditing, and version control.

Objective #2:

Within your first 3 months, you will also learn how Amitech’s recent Intelligent Automation projects have been run and learn historical use cases and solution designs that we have solved for so that you can help identify areas for improvement and reusability.

  • Assess IA project documentation: Review materials from recent IA projects, ranging from project overviews, solution design documents, automation components, etc.
  • Understand project execution and challenges: Interview current IA project teams to understand how these projects are being run, along with their challenges and successes.
  • Grow together: Learn about Amitech’s current IA assets/templates and contribute to continuous improvement of them.

Objective #3:

Within your first 6 months, you will identify and contribute to practice operations and leadership of the developer function and developer standards.

  • Provide and Receive Feedback: Conduct peer reviews with other RPA developers.
  • Bring New Knowledge to the Table: Continuously research and learn more about RPA technology and applications.
  • Channel Team Member Collaboration: Work with other Automation Developers within the Intelligent Automation practice to share learnings and knowledge.

 

Professional Competencies – What We are Looking For

Internal and External Technical Communication: You can explain technical processes in ways that inform and influence both internal and external stakeholders- everyone from developers to analysts to project managers and executives needs to understand how Amitech can solve healthcare challenges and create value for their organizations, so you can communicate to different audiences in ways that connect with each of them differently. You excel at written, pictorial, and verbal communications. You should be comfortable taking nebulous direction and finding order in things that aren’t well defined, devising a plan, and enlisting those needed to get the job done.

Intelligent Automation & Development Experience: You are a UiPath developer with solid experience in programming languages such as C#, Python, SQL, VB.Net, and API. You're highly proficient in UiPath and its products, as well as AI tools such as Document Understanding and Communication Mining, with a general knowledge of Gen AI and Machine Learning. You'll have a basic knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau, Monday.com and Insight.  

Technical Understanding of Best Practices, Coding Standards, and RE Framework: You can decide what Frameworks would best suit the automation design, ensuring that the correct software versions are installed and running, and adequately predict a completion date. 

Clean Code and Automation Solution Design: You write clean, easy-to-read code that is scalable and reusable. You design automation solutions after deciphering Process and Solution Design Documents. 

Monitoring, Supporting, and Maintaining Existing Code in Hypercare: You can pick up where someone else left off and continue to monitor, support, and maintain existing code during the Hypercare phase. You have experience using UiPath Orchestrator for scheduling and maintenance of existing code and bots.
