Description:

This position’s primary responsibility is to oversee the successful execution of large mission critical HVAC projects. This person will manage the post-sale product coordination, delivery, startup, commissioning and warranty execution periods associated with the complex equipment that Johnson Barrow provides. They will work with the sales team to manage product shipment, availability and the commission process of these projects. They must be comfortable on job sites and working with various project management software (example cx alloy). This person will proactively identify opportunities to improve our project delivery method to ensure the client has the best experience possible. This will mean working with external customers, building owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, manufacturers and internal communication with sales, service and parts teams to deliver the best experience possible.

Travel:  This position is expected to travel to remote jobsites across North America to meet with contractors, engineers and building owners during the construction process.  The amount of travel will vary greatly depending on the type and location of projects but is estimated to be 10 to 20% of total work hours.

Job Duties:

  • Provide customer service regarding material and order status via phone and/or email
  • Coordinate with factories/manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery of product
  • Prepare and Review submittal documents for compliance with plans and specifications
  • Spend time on project sites ensuring equipment is being properly received and installed
  • Work with the Johnson Barrow service group to ensure equipment is being started up and commissioned properly
  • Attend project commissioning meetings with engineers and contractors to ensure that all stake holders are having an excellent experience with Johnson Barrow
  • Manage and maintain project financials
  • Be a customer facing representative of Johnson Barrow both in the field and via phone/email.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in the commercial or mission critical construction industry with onsite experience
  • Full comprehension of construction plans and specifications
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to resolve conflicts and determine a path forward
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a high sense of urgency
  • Self-starting, dependable, accepts ownership, drives own goals/performance
  • Ability to learn and interpret technical and contractual language

Compensation: $100,000-120,000 annual salary plus bonus
