In this role, you will manage, grow, and champion partnerships with our most strategic enterprise clients, exceeding expectations and shaping the future of Alvys. Alvys’ Transportation Management System represents a comprehensive overhaul of our customer’s operating procedures and systems. As such, your work will be directly responsible for providing the tools that springboard your clients to greater efficiency and commercial growth. This is a full-time, long-term role at an ambitious, early-stage company. As such, it might require you to wear multiple hats, think creatively, and adaptively navigate unstructured terrain.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and deepen relationships: Build strong, long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at major corporations and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
  • Consultative selling: Identify client needs and challenges, demonstrating how Alvys’ Transportation Management Software solutions deliver measurable value and ROI.
  • Strategize and execute: Develop and implement tailored growth plans for assigned accounts, driving sustained revenue expansion.
  • Deal management: Proactively manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring seamless execution and follow up. Maintain a timely response rate to all inquiries while upkeeping a database of contact information in the company CRM and supporting technologies.
  • Negotiation and pricing: Secure optimal contracts through effective negotiation and pricing strategies.
  • Technical knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of supply chain technology trends, competitors, as well as Alvys’ solutions and competitive advantages.
  • Communication and presentation: Masterfully communicate the value proposition of Alvys Solutions through compelling presentations and written proposals to prospective clients.
  • Team collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams (marketing, product, implementation) to provide exceptional client experiences and to assist in the development and expansion of sales strategies.
  • Travel may consist of up to 50% at times for the attendance of industry conferences, client meetings, and other industry events.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success in B2B enterprise sales, preferably in supply chain and/or SaaS technology.
  • Solid track record of exceeding sales targets and growing assigned accounts.
  • Deep understanding of complex sales cycles and negotiation strategies.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or a related field.
  • Previous knowledge of using a Transportation Management System and understanding supply chain technology trends and patterns is a plus.
  • The drive and energy to balance multiple sales cycles in conjunction.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales-related software applications.
