ABOUT THE CRA TEAM
The Center for a Reimagined Africa (CRA) supports African public sector leaders in developing the expertise, experiences and partnerships needed to improve service delivery and outcomes for African citizens. We run various learning programs targeted at public sector officials at varying levels of seniority.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Product Management Trainer to design and deliver a 6-month Product Management training program for the Digital Ambassador Program in Togo. The trainer will work closely with government stakeholders, program facilitators, and coaches to ensure Digital Ambassadors gain practical product management skills to support digital transformation initiatives in government ministries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Curriculum Development & Training Design
- Develop a structured Product Management curriculum aligned with government digital transformation needs.
- Integrate real-world case studies from government, civic tech, and public-sector product management.
- Design interactive and application-based learning (e.g., group exercises, product roadmaps, stakeholder role-plays).
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead monthly virtual training sessions from June to December 2025.
- Facilitate two in-person workshops in Togo.
- Guide Ambassadors in applying product management frameworks to their ministry projects.
Collaboration with Other Trainers
- Work closely with the Leadership Faculty to ensure product management concepts align with leadership development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal, by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in civic tech, digital government, or public sector innovation.
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring product teams.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience leading virtual and in-person training.
- Fluency in English (French proficiency is a plus).
