ABOUT THE TEAM

The Registrar Office at ALU plays a key role in ensuring our student data is centralized, accurate, trustworthy and compliant as well as implementing academic processes that allow the institution to function in a routine, and streamlined manner.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In creating a world class education experience, the wider Academic department plays a key role in ensuring our academic operations and regulations are smoothly implemented, communicated and/or adhered to by all internal and external stakeholders ,including students, faculty, staff and regulators. The team is made up of various functions, such as the Academic Director’s Office and the Registrar’s Office. You will report to the Registrar and will ensure that our student data is complete, accurate, trustworthy and compliant.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for LMS Enrollments and Term registrations
  • Have a good understanding of the student journey map and to improve our system
  • Lead on the Registrar tech project automations
  • Is expected to contribute to the review of policies/processes within their understanding
  • May sit on academic Senate committees and is expected to submit reports on their activities
  • Manages record maintenance in Salesforce
  • Leads RO Canvas Operations
  • Document (and update documentation of) key procedures under their purview

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a Bachelor's degree. 3-5 years of experience at a junior analyst level is preferred.
  • Some experience in operations and project management and experience working with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
  • Are passionate about building systems and understanding how information flows through them.
  • Must be able to work on your own with little supervision, and are able to collaborate with others.
  • Show a growth mindset and know how to learn on the job.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, know how to document projects and take comprehensive, actionable notes.
  • Have a high degree of comfort with numbers and be able to map out and analyse how information flows through our systems. You must also be able to manipulate, analyse and interpret data to draw insightful and strategic conclusions.
  • Have proficiency in using Google Suite including, but not limited to Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides. Experience with additional BI tools or SIS tools is a plus.
