Alto is hiring a General Manager to lead us into a new market! This person will rely on natural leadership skills, positive energy, passionate curiosity and resourcefulness to build brand presence, hire a top-tier team, and generate customer and employee evangelism. Experience with managing growth in a new market is essential.
What You'll Do
Full ownership of market P&L
Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to build local revenue targets and plans.
Set driver schedule based on demand and dynamic local events
Hire and train entire team
Manage day-to-day operation, including fleet positioning and staffing to accommodate events, seasonality, and changes to demand patterns
Work with customer experience team on customer support issues and areas for improvement
Work closely with HR team to adhere to up to date policies and legal requirements
Motivate and grow a team
Oversee fleet management, including onboarding and offboarding vehicles and overseeing regular maintenance and repairs.
Use analytics to create efficiencies and show trends with the ability to make changes based on the data
Who You Are
Experience with launching and growing new markets or business initiatives preferred
5+ years of operational experience in a fast-paced organization
Experience in one or more of our key areas of business ideal but not required: Business Development, Operations, and Fleet Management
Experience working with front line workers required
Bachelor’s Degree required
Desire to grow within the organization is ideal
