Alto seeks a Finance Analyst to support the achievement of industry leading effectiveness and efficiency across our rapidly growing organization. This role will be a key contributor within our Operations Finance team and will support cost optimization and labor planning for the Care, Fulfillment, and Delivery organizations. 

This role will report to the Director of Supply chain Finance working in close partnership with the operations team leaders to develop plans and forecasts, providing variance analysis, developing analytical models, and driving efficiencies across the operations org. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, will enjoy a fast paced environment, and taking a hands-on approach in defining and implementing best practices that enhance the overall teams’ capabilities and influencing company-wide strategic decisions.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of supply chain operations, including fulfillment and care organization labor planning and logistics expenses.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Cost Optimization:

  • Identify and analyze cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the financial impact of supply chain initiatives and projects.

Supply Chain Performance Metrics:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to align financial goals with operational objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in supply chain management and finance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

 

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and synthesize findings for stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, proficient with Sql,  and experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and a self starter.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and execute multiple overlapping deadlines.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Prior experience working in fast-paced mid-sized companies.

 

Additional Physical Job Requirements

  • Reading English, comprehending, and following simple oral and written instructions. 
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.  Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. 
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. 
  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer or phone that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Environmental Conditions: occasional exposure to low temperatures or high temperatures, outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind, and noisy environments.
  • Physical Activities: 
    • Occasionally ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like.
    • Moving about to accomplish tasks and/or moving from one worksite to another. 
    • Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions. 
    • Operating motor vehicles.
    • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/driving/flying

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Commission Eligible: No

Equity Eligible: No

Travel: Yes - Up to 10% of the time.

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, Washington (WA), Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin.
