About the Role

As Senior Manager, Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning, you will be responsible for scaling Alto’s existing SIOP processes across the enterprise to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns, lead times and working capital. The core functions of the position include strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand and supply; aligning volume and mix with capacity and capability; and integrating financial and operating plans within strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results. Additional responsibilities include preparing data and material for monthly SIOP meetings that will facilitate decisions around labor and material needed to support a rapidly growing demand base.

  • Establish SIOP processes through cross functional partnership with Finance, Sales, Operations and Procurement
  • Coordinate and facilitate the monthly SIOP meetings to achieve demand plan consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps.
  • Identify and implement supply chain initiatives to improve efficiencies, cost, waste reduction and other lean principles.
  • Perform trade-off analysis to determine which items to include on Alto’s standard inventory min/max and safety stock formulary.
  • Create and track performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within SIOP processes and reporting as well as those across departments; provide insights and recommendations to help improve results.
  • Oversee and manage Inventory Control Leadership to meet site level inventory targets. 

A Bit About You:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics. 
  • Experience hiring and leading teams of at least 5 
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Supply Chain 
  • Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience project managing significant cross-functional initiatives with multiple internal and external stakeholders in written and verbal formats
  • Demonstrable experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting using tools like Excel, SQL, or Looker. 
  • Experience presenting to all levels of the business, including executive leadership, cross-functional peers, and direct reports 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred.

  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
