As (Program Manager) you will be responsible for;
As part of the Propulsion Systems Organization, the EDS PM has a pivotal role in management In House Manufacturing EDS programs.
The role requires:
- Interfacing with cross-functional teams from Core EDS Release and Development Engineering, EDS Chief Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Propulsion Strategy and Planning and other key Meta-functions, reporting to EDS HDM Family Manager
- Coordinate/lead the cross-functional team being responsible for execution of the EDS MAKE program assigned in order to be compliant with the targets identified in the approved initiative over the product development lifecycle (quality, budget financial fidelity, “on-time” delivery).
- Represent the single point of contact for the Product team members, for the given scope of work.
Qualifications;
Supported by the hierarchical team, the inter-functional teams and in coordination with the Propulsion System Team, the EDS HDM Program Manager:
- Manages all aspects of the assigned program to assure cost, timing & quality targets achievement.
- Run several types of meetings necessary for the execution of the program assigned, such as: Family meetings (weekly working level meeting covering all aspects of Timing, Readiness, Cost & Quality), Program Review Meetings (director-level review of the program) and Management Review (MR) meetings (KPI content, cadence driven by the program timing and PSDP)
- Is responsible to ensures procedures, best practices and methodologies application according to required standards and leads program documentation creation, monitoring and updating in line with PSDP standards.
- Define the Program timing collecting the macro and micro-planning activities from the involved departments.
- Owns the financial aspects of the programs – such as funds roll-up & reporting, budget tracking responsibility and direct material cost awareness, in cooperation with Propulsion Systems Finance).
- Is required to identify & resolve or escalate issues to management for aid in resolution – any issues thought to impede program progress.
- Supports Global Purchasing and Global Manufacturing strategies
- Leads the responses to investigate/action bulletins related to product/process changes
- Support Supply Chain and Logistics issues to guarantee production continuity during lifecycle
