As Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Uses systematic, data driven problem solving processes such as 8D, A3, DMAIC, PDCA to solve design and manufacturing problems
- Contributes to the development of engineering and design validation test procedures per Military, SAE, RTCA DO-160, Customer(s) and EN standards, performs testing as needed, and documents results with support of more experienced team members
- Evaluates use of non-conforming parts, processes and assemblies to determine their usability in the end product while ensuring that the quality and functionality of the product will be maintained
- Ability to read/understand prints (including GD&T), routings, bill of materials and process sheets.
Qualifications;
- Understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical systems, machining and manufacturing processes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Microsoft Excel)
- 2 years of experience in aerospace
- Fluent in French and/or Spanish would be a plus
Salary Range: $90,000 - 120,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
