As the Data Governance Analyst you will be responsible for;
- Support data stewardship and governance capabilities, data strategy and risk management
- Support/ enable compliance to global regulatory laws such as CCPA, Nevada Privacy Act, GDPR, CCAR, DOT, NHTSA, etc.
- Define and document data management policy, standards and controls
- Support enterprise initiatives such as Data Quality management, Metadata management, Critical Data/Master Data, Personal Information, data profiling, data lineage, master and reference data, retention and disposition, data modeling, etc.
- Create and maintain project documentation; roadmaps, business process flows and reports for management
- Develop/ Support systems strategy and roadmap initiatives
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to the senior management and project team
- Provide guidance and share expertise with the project teams members and business users
- Participate in supporting the design of innovative solutions aligning with informational architecture
- Provide support in establishing and implementing data governance framework in accordance with industry best practices
- Facilitate meetings and create support presentations, training guides and materials as needed
- Set, communicate and continuously manage project expectations / success criteria with stakeholders
- Complete business requirements & functional specifications
- Participate in various testing cycles, provide support to the end-user
- Effectively conveys the message in both written and verbal business development discussions
Qualifications;
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in Data Governance Business Analysis in a scaled organization, preferably with a background in automotive/ transportation industry or consulting or a similar regulated industry
- Understanding of data governance framework and industry best practices
- Knowledge of automotive/ transportation or a similar regulated industry
- Experience with data management toolsets such as IBM IGC, Talend Data Catalog, Talend Data Fabric, Collibra, MS Purview, etc.
- Possesses industry certifications and credentials such as EDM council DCAM or DAMA, Lean Six Sigma, etc.
- Experience in global regulatory compliance for laws such as CCPA, Nevada Privacy Act, GDPR, CCAR, DOT, NHTSA, etc.
- Proficient in Google product suite such as google slides, google docs, google sheets and MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.
- Basic knowledge of SQL might be useful
Salary Range: $100,000-$139,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
