As Tooling Engineer you will be responsible for;
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage RFQs with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Coordinate the organization of inbound tools and industrialization processes.
- Facilitate internal reviews with key stakeholders to validate selected solutions.
- Coordinate and support the installation of torque tools, ensuring proper implementation.
- Project management of torque tooling needs, including forecasting lead times and deadlines.
- Identify support needed for successful implementation and troubleshoot product build issues.
- Test and validate proposed torque tooling solutions, ensuring compliance with standards and processes.
- Manage end-to-end torque tooling projects with vendors and suppliers.
- Lead activities to verify correct infrastructure is forecasted and in place on time.
- Utilize 3D CAD experience to support project deliverables and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in torque tooling or related industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of torque tooling principles and processes.
- Experience with RFQ management and supplier coordination.
- Ability to forecast lead times and manage project deadlines effectively
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
