With Alt, we're turning sports cards – and eventually watches, sneakers, and art – into investable assets.

What we are looking for:
As a software engineer at Alt, you will help build out our core platform and data pipelines that will allow our users to research, manage, insure, and leverage their alternative asset portfolio. We are very early in the building phase so you will be instrumental in laying the foundation at Alt and will have the opportunity to shape the product and culture from the beginning.
The impact you will make:
Scope, design, and implement new end-to-end functionality
Contribute to codebases using technologies like Python, Typescript, Airflow, Postgres, etc
Perform detailed code reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineers
Architect core parts of our infrastructure from the ground up
Work closely with designers and product managers to solve ambiguous user challenges
What you bring to the table:
3+ years of full stack experience using modern programming languages like python, node, java, or similar
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Experience building GraphQL APIs is a plus
