About the Team:

The Revenue Operations, GTM Planning & Insights team at AlphaSense is a key strategic function, dedicated to enhancing productivity and optimizing efficiency for our Sales, Sales Development, and Customer Success organizations. Acting as the “right hand” to Revenue Leadership, you drive meaningful impact by combining business partnership with rigorous reporting and analytics. About the Role: 

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Director to lead our Global Revenue Operations with a primary focus on GTM Planning & Insights. This role will be instrumental in shaping, executing, and overseeing AlphaSense’s Revenue Strategic Planning and Insights functions. You will collaborate closely with Revenue Leadership, providing key insights and analysis that drive decision-making and support high-growth targets. As a people manager, you’ll guide and develop your team, while owning the end-to-end planning process with a robust focus on analytics, KPI tracking, and OKR achievement.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 10+ years in Revenue Operations, with strong experience in Planning & Insights. Highly recommended experience in planning for a team of 100+ in GTM and/or 100M+ in ARR
  • Data-Driven Operator: Proven track record of driving revenue growth through using data to influence decision-making, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity.
  • Strategic and Tactical: Able to think big-picture but also execute with precision
  • Leadership: Proven leader with strong collaboration skills and a history of working cross-functionally to drive impact.
  • Excellent Communicator: Able to distill complex insights into clear and actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Project Management Expertise: Highly organized with a keen eye for process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative skills with experience in deriving actionable insights from data.
  • People Manager: Seasoned people leader who is committed to coaching, mentoring, and growing top-tier talent.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Partner with Revenue Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Revenue Leadership team on GTM planning, OKR and KPI achievement, and overall revenue strategy.
  • Annual and Ongoing Planning: Lead the annual planning process, ensure monthly/quarterly tracking against plan and be the source of truth for all aspects of the GTM plan
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data to deliver key insights, track trends, and guide decision-making across Sales, Sales Development, and Customer Success.
  • Develop and Track KPIs: Establish and monitor KPIs that measure productivity, efficiency, and impact; use these insights to optimize performance and drive improvements.
  • Set Quotas and KPIs: Collaborate with leadership to define and set quotas and KPIs that align with business goals and drive growth.
  • Collaborate on Compensation Strategy: Work closely with the compensation team to design comp plans and core incentive strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Growth Partner: Act as a key partner to Revenue Leadership, advising on strategies to expand and maximize growth while maintaining a strong pulse on business drivers and detractors.
  • Define Rules of Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop Rules of Engagement and collaboration strategies that enhance sales productivity and efficiency
  • Craft Data-Driven Narratives: Collaborate closely with senior analysts and the BI team to deeply analyze data and create compelling data stories that support strategic business initiatives.
  • Project Ownership: Lead end-to-end project management for Planning & Insight improvements and new initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.
  • Coach and Develop: Build and nurture a high-performing team by providing coaching, career development, and opportunities for growth.

Base Compensation Range*:  $180,000 - $200,000

Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
