Position Summary –

The Order to Cash (OTC) Associate is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of the order fulfilment process, from order receipt to cash collection. This position involves managing customer orders, processing invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and coordinating with various internal departments to facilitate timely and accurate order processing. The OTC Associate is responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction standards while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and review customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process orders promptly and accurately based on calculations, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Generate invoices and billing statements for completed orders and services rendered.
  • Verify pricing, discounts, and terms of sale to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfilment and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping information, and delivery updates.
  • Investigate and promptly resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and overdue payments, utilising appropriate communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and customer communications.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including revenue recognition and accounts receivable reconciliation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the order to cash cycle.
  • Stay updated on company products, services, pricing policies, and sales promotions.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including those related to data privacy and financial regulations.
  • Support and assist other finance and customer service team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • BCOM / MCOM/ BBA / MBA in Finance.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in billing SaaS-based products, revenue recognition, and reconciliation; hands-on experience in O2C required.
  • Preference for candidates who have worked with Salesforce.
  • Should be good with numerical calculations.
  • Pune-based candidate.

Shift Timing - We seek a candidate ready to work in 4PM to 1AM (IST) shift.

Skills And Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to effectively gather and convey information via e-mail or phone with people in other non-local offices and in different time zones.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is necessary. Strong analytical skills are essential. Strong attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills and an understanding of basic statistical calculations such as cross-multiplication etc.
  • Experience with SaaS optics, Sage Intacct and Salesforce will be preferred.
  • Extended hours are required during peak business periods, such as financial closes and audit periods, as management requires.
