The Sales Development team at AlphaSense plays a pivotal role in engaging prospects and generating pipeline. We employ various outreach strategies, conduct strategic conversations with stakeholders, and collaborate with Account Executives to expand our presence in accounts and drive revenue. Our team comprises motivated individuals with a deep passion for AlphaSense, relying on comprehensive product and industry knowledge to skillfully communicate the value of our solution and convert prospects into qualified leads.

Join us as the Director of Sales Development, leading a diverse team steadfast in facilitating growth in the corporate sector. You'll guide and inspire four direct managers and their teams in New York, leveraging our decade-long leadership in AI and tapping into emerging markets. With our company's remarkable 300% growth in just three years, you'll be at the forefront of scaling our success. In this dynamic and data-driven role, you'll accelerate pipeline generation and steer new business growth. Beyond that, you'll play a pivotal part in attracting, retaining, and nurturing extraordinary talent within our Sales Development team, shaping the future leaders of our Account Executive ranks. What You’ll Do:

  • Coach and mentor the team, elevating meeting quality with senior executives and surpassing KPIs.
  • Design scalable sales development strategies tailored to team growth, while contributing to the planning and execution of successful sales development programs.
  • Collaborate on GTM strategies, across email, phone, and social media.
  • Implement robust performance management strategies that cultivate the professional development of team members, propelling both individual and collective performance to new heights.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify, attract, and onboard top-tier talent, ensuring a high-performing and cohesive Sales Development team.
