Qualification

Must Have

  • Minimum 5+ years practical experience with cloud security, network security, cryptography, identity access management, infrastructure design, client/server, database security, key management, vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection, firewalls, encryption, penetration testing, system security, and system architecture
  • Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience with cloud security engineering (AWS) and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge and practical experiencing in configuring secure infrastructure against security industry best practices (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, CIS Top 20)
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., CSA CCM, ISO27001, SOC 2, and NIST CSF)
  • Knowledge and experience applying CIS Benchmarks across critical infrastructure components
  • Experience with cloud architecture, cloud operations, cloud-based identity access and management, security, containers, automation, and orchestration
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in designing and implementing end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
  • 2+ years experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, NodeJS
  • Ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences

Essential Job Functions :

  • Reports to Enterprise Architect
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify risk and solutions for improvement, including development, infrastructure, and systems management.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to advise on secure configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of infrastructure, applications, and evaluation of new products related to security.
  • Identify vulnerabilities within systems, networks, DBs, applications during the design of new solutions and services and recommend suitable controls and countermeasures to mitigate such vulnerabilities
  • Regularly test and audit systems within the corporate IT and production environment for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
  • Review current and upcoming infrastructure stack from a security perspective and provide hardening mechanisms and recommendations
  • Deploy, build, and operate security infrastructure solutions to help scale the security program
  • Assess, design, implement, automate, and document security solutions, controls, and processes for cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
  • Design and oversee the implementation of DevSecOps processes, tools, and re-usable templates to incorporate security into application and infrastructure design patterns and the building of security controls into the CI/CD process
  • Review and approve infrastructure changes with security implications (e.g., IAM Roles and Policies, Security Groups, Firewall rulesets)
  • Assist in investigation and remediation of security incidents with the Security Operations team
  • Automate security controls, data, and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support
