OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Supply Planning Manager to drive operational excellence, optimize sales through on-time delivery, and enhance efficiency across the product delivery cycle. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of go-to-market strategies. They will be responsible for score carding the organization on delivery flow, working across the organization on exceptions, and managing dependencies across a global supply chain. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, Distribution, Merchandising and Planning to deliver on time execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between senior leadership, channel teams, and cross-functional departments to drive on time delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to Production, Logistics, Distribution, Merchandising, Planning and Allocation
- Spearhead the support for on time delivery of product launches and tracking of key item inventory
- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities
Reporting and Analytics:
- Monitor and manage inventory flow from vendor to warehouse receipt
- Develop and execute appropriate KPIs to maintain target inventory levels
- Analyze supply chain and logistics performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements
- Utilize Excel and other reporting mechanisms like Tableau analyze and track KPIs that align with business goals
Process Improvement:
- Establish a continuous improvement framework to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization
- Manage supply chain risks, identifying potential disruptions and developing contingency plans
- Oversee technical implementations and process improvements for large-scale sales projects, ensuring seamless execution of go-to-market strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, supply chain, logistics, or a related role within the CPG or retail industry
- Knowledge of 3PL warehousing, logistics, and co-packing operations
- Proficiency in supply chain ERP systems
- Excel wizard with Tableau writing capability
- Strong data analysis skills
- Comfortable leading in a cross-functional environment at all levels from executive down
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
