OVERVIEW
We are looking for a strong Senior Accountant to support our month end close process and procedures. The position will also require a thorough knowledge of accounting principles as well as excellent analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounting support to the General Ledger accounting function
- Direct preparation of monthly journal entries
- Prepare reconciliation schedules and roll forward analysis monthly
- Produce periodic reports for the executive team
- Analyze financial information to draft recording entries
- Review business documents such as leases and other contracts
- Support external audits to ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Develop and document business processes and procedures
- Identify and implement improvements to internal controls
- Liaison with third parties such as bank representatives and outside consultants
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree in Accounting or related business field
- Experience working in a multi-national corporation
- Experience with general ledger functions and large ERP’s
- Public accounting experience required
- CPA desired
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP
- Ability to execute deadline driven month-end processes
The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and a variety of progressive benefits.
