OVERVIEW

As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure efficient and timely transportation and delivery of goods. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and transportation partners to coordinate shipments, track inventory, and optimize logistics operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Coordinate and monitor shipments of goods, ensuring timely delivery to distribution centers and stores.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to arrange transportation and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Track inventory levels and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Request and submit documentation such as shipping documents, bills of lading, and customs paperwork to comply with regulations and facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Provide shipment updates to our internal teams such as production, planning, and web.
  • Maintain systems and procedures for efficient inventory management and logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to transportation and logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and analyzing data.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to optimize logistics operations.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges related to transportation, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation related to logistics activities.

The base pay range for this position is $27/hr-$29/hr which represents the current range for the non-exempt position. Please note that actual pay will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
