OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and inspired leader to join the Alo family as a Senior Manager of Product operations. The candidate’s responsibility will be to work in Product operations managing and developing our product to market calendar, connecting the dots across functions, streamlining process and timelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven experience working in the athletic apparel industry. As a member of the Product Operations team, you will participate in developing and executing the backbone of how we operate. This role will play a critical role in optimizing productivity, driving efficiencies in our process, and ensuring timelines are met. The ideal candidate will work closely and collaboratively with Design, Raw Material R&D, Technical Design, Sourcing, Planning and Merchandising teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, maintain and optimize go to market calendars that support all product functions from concept to delivery.
  • Publish weekly calendar and maintain calendar up to date.
  • Establish and document standard operating procedures across functions.
  • Maintains repository of process best practices and framework.
  • Work with product teams to identify risks & benefits of process changes.
  • Facilitate process implementation across product teams.
  • Capture and report key performance indicators and metrics that pertain to calendar adherence and on-time milestone performance.
  • Lead/Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timelines are maintained & milestones are achieved.
  • Map “as is” and future-state business processes, analyze gaps, and provide recommended solutions.
  • Resolve potential and actual cross functional issues that affect the process and the organization.
  • Ability to facilitate business process, monitors, and provides feedback to cross functional associates working toward business goals.
  • Improve business processes through tools, metrics, and dashboard reporting to enable.
  • Anticipate all risks to deliverables and create paths for mitigation and resolution with all department leads.
  • Facilitate weekly cross-functional meeting for all categories to monitor and react to changes in cross category product and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with VPs of design/ merchandising and product development and sourcing to identify opportunities for integration improvements and cross-functional initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in business process improvement.
  • Project management, PMP certification preferred.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Previous work experience with Calendar management is a plus
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and focus on multiple efforts simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Product lifecycle in Apparel, Accessories and footwear.
  • University/College degree or prior work experience.
  • Must have strong influencing skills.
  • Provide recommendations and guide teams to make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work with leaders to provide team recommendations for final decisions
  • Ability to recommend, and develop comprehensive plans and initiatives to improve business, communication, and performance in multiple areas.
  • Comfortable with all levels and cultures/relationship builder, needs to be able to navigate within the organization.
  • Uses creativity in communication to clearly articulate written and visual messages; includes creative usage of Power Point to convey messages and drive change.
  • Trusted and respected resource as the “connector” to keep the business on track.
  • Ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Apparel industry & Project Management.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
