OVERVIEW
We are looking for a business systems analyst with a background in eCommerce to assist in scoping, building, implementing, and supporting the technology and process needs for our growing online and omni-channel business. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of industry best practices and emerging omni-channel solutions, can recommend new processes and technologies, and can coordinate with partner technology groups and stakeholder business units in the design, testing and implementation of those solutions. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and developing technical solutions related to application and process errors for both internal users and external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and resolve application issues with the Shopify Plus and its connections with our ERP, WMS, and third-party platforms.
- Help to configure and maintain the ERP system (FDM4) related to Shopify Plus communications, transactions, and processes.
- Utilize available business intelligence tools to research and provide data analysis as needed to ensure data integrity, monitor system and process usage/adherence, and leverage data to support business needs and growth.
- Responsible for owning and supporting aspects of application feature enhancement projects, testing and deployment scheduling/communications.
- Manage the full life cycle of project implementation from requirements gathering, writing specs for development or process changes, testing the new functionality, end user documentation, training impacted parties, and ensuring any recurring maintenance is supported.
- Responsible for bug identification and fix testing.
- Stay up to date on emerging digital technologies and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Administration or Ecommerce Operations.
- Knowledge of omni-channel enterprise-level business processes, technologies, tools, applications, and emerging technologies. Specifically:
- B2C (DTC) web platforms (Shopify Plus experience a plus but not required.)
- Multi-node and omnichannel order fulfillment
- Reverse logistics (returns) and exchanges
- Domestic and international currencies, languages, duties and taxes
- Payment Processors
- Online and In-Store “endless aisle” capabilities (ex: OMS, Ship from Store, BOPIS, Preorders)
- Luxury brand customer experience expectations
- Detailed familiarity with all technical and process components of business operations systems – Ecommerce, ERP and related 3rd party platforms/services
- Experience in developing and implementing complex technology and business processes.
- Self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability
- API/Web Services, EDI Technology Experience
- Strong degree of technical aptitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills and easily adaptable to changing priorities.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
