As a Junior Sales Account Executive at Sora Union, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing business for our professional services offerings in the medtech industry. This includes identifying and qualifying leads, developing proposals, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, as well as strong relationship-building and communication skills.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Identify and qualify new sales leads within the medtech industry. This involves researching potential customers, understanding their needs, and determining whether they are a good fit for the company's professional services offerings.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies: This involves creating a plan for how to reach and acquire new medtech industry customers, as well as how to grow existing business. The plan should take into account the company's target markets, the competition, and the company's strengths and weaknesses.
  • Build relationships with potential customers: This involves establishing rapport, understanding their pain points and needs, and providing them with a clear understanding of the opportunities for working with Sora Union. The goal is to build long-term relationships with customers that will lead to repeat business and referrals.
  • Present and close sales proposals: This involves presenting the company's professional services offerings to customers and negotiating a contract. The salesperson must be able to clearly articulate the value of the company's offerings and convince customers that they are the best solution for their needs.
  • Help identify the ideal customer profile(s) within the assigned customer segment.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and track progress towards goals: This involves tracking the progress of potential and existing deals, identifying opportunities to close deals, and making adjustments to the sales strategy as needed. The salesperson must be able to stay organized and on top of the sales process in order to meet or exceed goals.
  • Work with other departments to ensure a smooth sales process: This involves collaborating with other departments, such as customer success, business operations, and production verticals (Design, Localization, Engineering, QA Engineering, Recruiting as a Service  etc.), to ensure that the sales process is efficient and effective. The salesperson must be able to build relationships with other departments and communicate effectively in order to get things done.
  • In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, the professional services salesperson may also be responsible for:
    • Attending industry events and conferences
    • Writing sales proposals and marketing materials
    • Collaborating with teammates on pricing strategy for specific services

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written English)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales to medtech industry firms [or sales work for such firms], 
  • Basic understanding of how services such as Design, Localization, Engineering, QA, Recruiting, etc. are conducted in the medtech industry, including the vendor ecosystem a plus
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to close deals
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Hubspot preferred
  • Ability to travel in US as needed

The Salesperson role is a full-time, initially 6-month contract position, and we intend to convert it to a full-time employment relationship. This role is a distributed position and can be based in any location.
