About Alltrna

Alltrna is the world’s first tRNA platform company to decipher tRNA biology and pioneer tRNA therapeutics to treat thousands of diseases. Alltrna unlocks tRNA biology to correct disease. The company's platform incorporates AI/ML tools to learn the tRNA language and deliver diverse programmable molecules with broad therapeutic potential. Alltrna has an unprecedented opportunity to advance a single tRNA medicine to unify treatment across a wide range of diseases with the same underlying genetic mutation. Alltrna was founded in 2018 by Flagship Pioneering. For more info, visit www.alltrna.com.

About The Role

Come join a creative and collaborative team of scientists dedicated to leveraging emerging insights in RNA biology to develop novel classes of oligonucleotide therapeutics to treat human diseases and improve human health. In this role you will play a critical/vital role in DMPK Group and work closely with internal partners and external collaborators to enable identification of multiple drug candidates for human clinical studies. Please apply if you feel that you can contribute to growing our team and advance our mission.

Core Responsibilities

Lab-based

  • Responsible for conducting bioanalytical sample analysis in support of pharmacokinetic (PK), Toxicology (Tox), Biomarker, Bioavailability (BA), Bioequivalence (BE), and other studies requiring routine ADME assays
  • Participate in experimental design, performing experiments, and data analysis/interpretation.
  • Development of novel assays to address mechanistic ADME-related questions for RNA therapeutics
  • Sample preparation, including Protein Precipitation (PPT), Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE), Solid Phase Extraction (SPE); timely preparation of requested documentation and reports covering objectives, methods, analysis, and results for drug and biomarker bioanalysis in a variety of species and biological matrices (whole blood/plasma/serum, urine, tissue homogenate, etc.)
  • Participate in in vivo samples processing, such as tissue homogenization, in collaboration with other groups and functions according to SOPs
  • May perform nucleic acid extraction as well as DNA/RNA/protein quantification of experimental samples
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and operate LC-MS and UPLC/HPLC instruments, as well as track the required paperwork, documentation and agreements for in vivo studies
  • Communicate with internal and external partners for the successful initiation, conduct and completion of all DMPK and pharmacology studies
