Our company, AlleyCorp Nord, is a Montreal-based technology hub. We are a high-end boutique consultancy for product development, technology strategy and applied AI research. Amongst our specialties are healthcare, biotech & “deep” tech.

About the role
AlleyCorp Nord is currently on the lookout for a Dev ops consultant. If you're passionate about leading the development and maintenance of critical software infrastructure, then this role is perfect for you. As a Senior DevOps Consultant, you will work closely with development teams to ensure minimal downtime and costs and help our clients thrive with well-architected systems. This position offers a diverse and challenging mix of consulting projects, ranging from assisting clients and growing startups to developing internal tools. This role is targeting a senior level.
The Ideal profile would have
- 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, system administration, and/or software development;
- familiarity with Infrastructure As Code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting in Python or Bash;
- knowledge of at least one major public cloud system (AWS, GCP, Azure);
- a good understanding of container technologies;
- has a strong interest in DevOps methodologies, operational tooling, observability and automation;
- versatility to accommodate the client’s technological environment;
- experience or affinity with consulting. A product-oriented mindset is key;
- possesses excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to innovate;
- embraces security and reliability as core principles;
- utilizes the right tools, architectures, and processes for each situation.

- Polyglots! Professional experience in multiple programming languages/stacks is great. We are not purists in any technology, but making informed and sustainable choices is key.

We are a remote-first company with office space in Montreal. We prefer to hire in Quebec, but we are open to candidates anywhere in the EST±2 time zone in Canada.
