Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences and had millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey.

As the Manager, Tech Strategic Planning & Communications you will report to the Director, Technology Strategy and Operations, as well as continuously collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to solve the most important technical problems.

 You Will

Strategic Planning & Operations (60%)

  • Support the design and structure of critical strategic projects including annual and quarterly product and business strategy plans, resource and budget development exercises, and corporate innovation opportunities 

  • Partner across teams within Allergan Aesthetics to clearly articulate our business strategies for presentation in executive decision making forums including deck creation, curation, and ongoing updates

  • Conduct rigorous and accurate analysis in support of strategy development for Allergan Data Labs technology team

  • Support ad hoc special projects on a day-to-day basis, tracking progress and partnering with internal colleagues and cross functional partners to ensure they are meeting deliverables

Internal Communications (40%)

  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor for key internal stakeholders to translate business priorities into engaging, inspiring content and experiences in forums such as All Hands, Monthly Meetings, and Business Reviews

  • Author critical communications mechanisms like the newsletter, executive announcements, and change management updates 

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for internal communications 

  • Oversee the governance, maintenance, and management of Confluence for the A-DL Tech organization 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 6 - 8 years of experience, ideally in a tech-forward company or industry 

  • Experience preparing clear, polished presentations for executive audiences

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to effectively communicate with different audiences/teams across the org

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • A strong sense of business acumen – an ability to understand the real ‘question behind the question,’ and the judgment to shape the analytical path forward

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify creative solutions to quantitative problems where limited data is available
