Responsibilities
Provide technical skills to perform, information dissemination, information gathering and research, quality assurance, data analysis, data depiction, data management, data preparation, enterprise perspective, extraction, imagery manipulation, image interpretation, mensuration, photogrammetric analysis, planning and organizing, problem solving, process analysis and improvement, product development and editing, and statistical analysis; provide technical knowledge at the specified level of expertise: analytical processes and techniques, collection and tasking principles, data evaluation principles, geographic information system (GIS) principles, GEOINT doctrine, intelligence issues, data attribution schema, data conversion and transfer tools, data dissemination requirements and procedures, data mining techniques, data modeling, data storage processes, data synchronization practices,and data visualization; ad-hoc informational briefings and training for the purpose of educating analysts and managers as to the capabilities of data science methodologies, processing, visualization and its benefit, to include presentations to the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree required
- 10 Years of experience with data management principles, governance guidelines, and understanding of data holdings to review, approve, and manage data in support of broad customer requirements for geospatial or organizational data;
- Experience facilitating effective data production and storage by aligning organizational processes (e.g., data sharing, metadata creation/maintenance) to governance requirements, including using data workflow technologies (e.g., Collibra) to automate and improve data management; apply logic to categorize data, document how data categories relate to each other, and maintain ontology (e.g., data dictionary names, data integrity rules);
- Experience managing appropriate security controls and conformance to data policies, standards, and any legal or regulatory requirements; evaluate the state of data and determine methods to improve data quality, usability, and availability; advocate for and train others on data management best practices and work with customers to qualify all data management metrics across the data lifecycle.
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI)
