Graphics Specialist
TS/SCI Clearance Required
About the Role:
- Create and edit visual materials while following graphic design principles (alignment, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, proximity, balance, color, negative space) and elements (line, shape, form, texture, space, imagery, typography, and color) using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator on a daily basis.
- Edit briefing slides in PowerPoint
- Create forms using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat
- Create content that includes routine-to-complex graphics, publication design and layout, infographics, forms, briefs, illustrations, posters, logos, photography, videos, and websites.
- Examine how designs are viewed by their customer to ensure messages are communicated clearly and accurately.
- Communicate with customers to establish the objective, design, and requirements of the project. Maintains contact with the customer about project progress and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Must demonstrate advanced to expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent and five to six years of related experience
- Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines.
- Openness to continuous learning and knowledge sharing with peers.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a project team environment
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Adobe Premier, Aftereffects, and web development is not required, but preferred.
- Experience with Photography and Videography is not required, but preferred.
