POSITION OVERVIEW

Alarm.com, a rapidly growing entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a Analyst, Investor Relations to support the company’s investor engagement and communications program. This person will work at the intersection of finance and communications and play a key role in developing and executing effective communications about Alarm.com’s innovative technology and global market presence, and the emergence of new markets for AI-powered connected property solutions. The high-profile role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic and highly productive team, and advancement in the fields of investor relations and corporate communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands-on execution of investor relations, including managing and maintaining key contacts
  • Assist with setting up investor conference calls, analyst call-backs,  and meetings.
  • Update Wall Street consensus tables based on Analyst models and compare to company guidance/forecasts
  • Support the creation of quarterly earnings releases, conference calls, and presentation content
  • Prepare senior management for earnings calls and Q&A
  • Prepare quarterly earnings briefing book for senior management
  • Maintain and update IR database and track investor engagements and topics of interest
  • Assist with logistics for investor conferences and schedules
  • Travel to investment conferences
  • Position involves some administrative duties as well
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.A./B.S. Required
  • Ideal candidate has one to two years of experience in communications, investor relations, or corporate finance 
  • Ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills (including writing for business audiences) and a deep interest in communications and finance
  • Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills, and ability to collaborate and self-start.
  • Investor Relations or corporate finance experience is helpful
