We are seeking an R & D Project Manager with a passion for innovation to augment our novel biomarker detection and quantitation capability on Alamar’s novel technology platform. In this position, the manager will be working very closely with industrial, pharmaceutical, and academic clients to expand the market and develop novel tools for various research areas. You will be leading a fast-paced team on multiple projects and will be a part of a rapidly growing company to make a big impact in life science research and early disease diagnosis.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Work with scientific leads to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed through project completion
- Develop a timetable for the projects according to set goals and priorities
- Coordinate the work between Alamar Biosciences' internal functions that participate in the projects
- Collaborate with project stakeholders internally and externally
- Responsible for ensuring transparency for project progress and potential risks
- Continually work to improve, educate, and lead within Alamar Biosciences' project processes
- Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
- Develop, manage, and drive improvements through engagement, support teamwork, and apply structured models in project management
- Generate and create custom reports of projects to deliver to clients based on clients’ requirements
- Collaborate with the research and field teams for assay transfer to support clients' projects and their relevant scientific applications
Requirements include:
- Relevant degree in a related field (BSc, MSc, PhD in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, etc.)
- Experience in project management within the Life Science industry
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, IPMA, etc.) desired
- Ability to interact with a diverse population to ascertain information, relay information, resolve conflict, establish rapport, remain courteous, influence decisions, clarify capabilities and propose solutions
- Self-motivation with a positive “can do” attitude and attention to details
The base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $160,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
