The Role:

Akoya is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive inbound marketing program which spans lead generation, content marketing, SEO and SEM focused on customer acquisition.

We’re seeking a creative self-starter and dynamic marketing manager to help us establish a robust lead generation machine and devise programs that effectively manage, grow, and nurture the lead and sales opportunity pipeline. This position will also be responsible for creating, managing, optimizing SEO, SEM, and campaigns.

The ideal person for this role is a highly strategic thinker, with extensive technical knowledge of the digital space and a good handle of the content landscape. They will lead the day-to-day management and co-creation of our content marketing (videos, blogs, white papers and social media posts), and guided by our Product Marketing Lead, will be responsible for approving all site content before it is published.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead Generation:

  • Lead and manage inbound marketing strategies that help spread awareness, educate prospects / relevant personas, and convert them into leads.
  • Streamline and implement lead gen processes and strategies to effectively market Akoya products and services.
  • Craft persuasive email content and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Segment email lists and tailor campaigns for specific customer segments.
  • Continuously A/B test emails for improved performance and engagement.

Content Marketing:

  • Create a steady cadence of creative and thought-provoking content to help drive traffic to Akoya channels (website and LinkedIn) and grow our brand presence
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content in a variety of formats, from blog posts and articles to white papers, infographics, videos, and more
  • Stay on top of content marketing trends and bring new ideas for us to explore and test
  • Ensure the consistency of all content in accordance with Akoya’s brand tone and style requirements
  • Evaluate the success and effectiveness of content through ongoing analysis and monthly reporting on organic traffic and lead-generation initiatives
  • Be a steward of best practices in messaging, grammar, writing, and style

SEM Management:

  • Develop and execute a paid media strategy (Initially via Google Ads and LinkedIn) to enhance Akoya’s online presence.
  • Continuously A/B test ad creative for improved performance and engagement
  • Work with our Marketing and Growth partners to expand our funnel-based approach to net new accounts and existing customers.

SEO Performance and Analytics:

  • Manage Akoya’s website and optimize organic search efforts.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations for optimization.
  • Provide strategic ownership of SEO and paid search
  • Execute frequent website landing page tests and optimize for conversion.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 7+ years of generalist marketing experience; a combination of brand, channel, performance, lifecycle, demand gen, and integrated campaign marketing is highly desirable.
  • Ideal candidate has experience in B2B technology marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Adwords required
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and email marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Deep understanding of SEO and SEM.
  • Performance-oriented, with understanding of how to manage web analytics.
  • Experience with content strategy and creative development (leading both internal and external agencies).
  • Ability to manage complex projects across multiple departments.

The actual base pay offered may take into account the candidate's work location, relevant education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
Hiring Range:
$100,000$130,000 USD
