Job Summary:

The Director of Sales/Strategic Account Executive will lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth in key accounts. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with strategic clients, and driving the adoption of our AI/Machine Learning solutions. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, deliver value to customers, and achieve sales targets.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in targeted industries and regions.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, including account executives and sales representatives, to drive sales pipeline growth and customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic clients, key stakeholders, and decision-makers to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and technical teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, market positioning, and customer requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and drive customer retention and loyalty.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to inform sales strategies, tactics, and value propositions.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our brand, build relationships, and generate leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10 -15 years) in sales leadership roles, with a focus on technology, AI, or machine learning industries.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex technology solutions, software products, or enterprise services to strategic clients and large enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
