A Snapshot

As Commercial Analyst reporting to our Senior Commercial Manager, you will work closely with our Head of Commercial, the commercial and finance teams, and the broader business, making an impact in a number of ways:

  • Engaging in all aspects of commercial activities, including building a market intelligence database, developing customer proposals, and planning and implementing our market expansion strategy
  • Building and coordinating positive relationships with various internal and external customers including real estate companies, consultants, telecommunication, power companies and key customers.

 

Your Day to Day

  • Work cross-functionally with the site selection, technology, development and finance teams to develop customer proposals and business cases for new customer opportunities and new site/market opportunities
  • Build and run financial models to advise on pricing and commercial terms proposed to customers
  • Assist in the negotiation of commercial terms and drafting legal documentation including NDA, letter of intent, term sheet and lease agreements
  • Lead the market analysis and competitive intelligence for the existing and expansion markets with regular reporting to AirTrunk senior management and investors
  • Assist in undertaking business planning activities, assessing international expansion markets and target customers.

 

Requirements:

  • MBA/CA/CFA qualification or tertiary qualifications in Law/Business/Commerce Economics or similar relevant field
  • 3-5+ years' experience in data centre, real estate, infrastructure sector or strategy consulting
  • Strong quantitative and financial analysis capabilities
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting to senior management
  • Exceptionally flexible and forward-thinking as you have to be ready for a continuous change in direction
  • A great teammate, pro-active and results focussed, you anticipate needs, are assertive, and highly accountable
  • Passionate about helping to grow a business in its early development phase.
