We’re looking for a research manager to help build and scale the research discipline and team at Airtable. If you are empathetic and a strategic thinker, and enjoy untangling complexity with a collaborative team, we’d love to work with you.

What you'll do

  • Immerse yourself in company strategy and enable your team to identify and understand our biggest opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional partners to build roadmaps, set goals, and define success metrics
  • Build, empower, and scale a research team
  • Lead research and foster a sense of ownership throughout the process for your team
  • Provide thought leadership to your reports and mentorship to the broader team
  • Work with other researchers to craft and realize a vision for research at Airtable

Who you are

  • You have a background in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • You have professional experience conducting and leading research, ideally in a B2B SaaS company
  • You have applied experience with a variety of qualitative or quantitative research methodologies, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
  • You have applied experience building and managing a team of researchers
  • You have created, improved, and scaled initiatives across an organization
  • You have brought structure and clarity to an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • You have collaborated and influenced cross-functional leaders
  • You are a clear and concise communicator
  • You are a creator
