The Opportunity:
To continue our incredible expansion, we’re looking for a Paralegal to join our Legal Team. This role will be focused on employment, corporate, compliance, and litigation matters. We are seeking a results-driven, detail-oriented, independent professional who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the General Counsel, and can be fully-remote, with the expectation of light work-travel (likely once or twice per quarter).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contact for both internal legal requests and external partners
- Collaborate with Sales team to streamline Contract process from ideation to execution
- Assist with contract negotiations, including, but not limited to: NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, leases, etc.
- Maintain/monitor IP portfolio and related deadlines
- Manage insurance COIs and related requests
- Liaise with outside counsel and internal stakeholders for project management and corporate needs
- Partner with the General Counsel to oversee the contract lifecycle process, creating visibility and project managing as necessary
- Ensure all vendors documentation, COIs, NDAs are up-to-date, and track any pending expirations
- Help prepare and complete KYC, RFI/RFP, Questionnaires, and related corporate background documents
- Review partner billing and invoicing to help control costs
- Maintain a detailed and organized system tracking open and upcoming projects
- Assist with due diligence and related matters
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- At least 3-5 years of Paralegal experience (in-house experience a plus)
- Prior experience working with international contracts or expansion a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Suite
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $65,000–$85,000
