About the role: 

As a Solutions Consultant at Airbase, you will act as the technical subject matter expert and serve as a trusted advisor for presenting the Airbase solution to Mid Market and Enterprise prospects. You will work closely with the sales team, effectively communicating Airbase’s product benefits and features to customers by delivering tailored product demonstrations and sales presentations. You will assess requirements and work with prospects to overcome technical hurdles during the sales process by assessing fit through use-cases, cost-benefit/ROI analysis, and technical competencies. You will report to the Director of Solutions Consulting and will work collaboratively with multiple teams across our company to build strong value based solutions and accelerate Airbase’s expansion into new customer segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner effectively and provide excellent support to sales account executives during the pre-sales cycle including planning, scoping, and delivering high-impact product demonstrations.
  • Present and deliver tailored, demonstrations of the Airbase solution to prospective buyers that clearly reflect the prospect’s business requirements and Procure to Pay workflows.
  • Provide technical responses to the compatibility of ERP workflows/specifications with Airbase capabilities.
  • Collaborate with our sales, sales enablement and product teams to continually improve our demonstrations, including sales scripts, discovery process, best practices, sharing expertise/training and guiding solution enhancements.
  • Act as subject matter expert on product capabilities and relevant competitive and adjacent solutions.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years in a pre-sales position with an Enterprise or Mid Market SaaS company, preferably focused on the financial and procurement buyer.
  • Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build compelling value-driven presentations.
  • Ability to gather complex requirements, leverage business acumen, and work with a team to design a solution.
  • Technical experience with leveraging API’s to integrate business system with SaaS solutions 
  • Understanding of the procurement, vendor management, accounts payable, general ledger and/or related financial operational processes
  • Experience with ERP and accounting softwares and their workflows preferred:  NetSuite,Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, and Workday.
