As a Legal Intern of Agoda, you will support the Data Privacy team on all kinds of privacy assistance and administrative work. You will be given the opportunity to learn about operations in an in-house Legal Department.



  • 3rd year university at a respected university and the ability to provide an official letter from the University confirming active student status and period of internship;
  • Demonstrated interest in data privacy law including the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act or studying towards a privacy or legal qualification;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Good communication skills in English; other language skills are a definite plus;
  • Good Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus;
  • Team player;
  • Available from January 2020 onward for a minimum duration of 3 months


  • Facilitating a records of processing activities document or automation tool – and at the same time gain insight of how an international organization manages its processing activities;
  • Filing/E-filing and manage contracts and other legal documents;
  • Draft and prepare documents;
  • Some exposure to privacy impact assessments;
  • Ad-hoc privacy research as needed

Work approach

  • Work as directed by Data Privacy team (part of the Legal team);
  • Develop and establish good working relations with other departments;
  • Coordinate and work with outside counsel and colleagues;
  • Strong interest in data privacy laws especially in a Thai context
