Role Purpose:

The Finance Systems Transformation Lead will play a fundamental role delivering Agoda Finance’s strategic system transformation initiatives. The individual will own key oversight to both enterprise and internal financial core systems design, development and enhancements while ensuring alignment to short- and long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build in depth understanding and knowledge of current finance systems capabilities and landscape
  • Define and continuously validate systems roadmap with management and stakeholders
  • Project manage external vendors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions
  • Contribute in sprint grooming, planning, review and phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation.
  • Serve as primary liaison for all finance system related issues and enhancements and working in tandem with the IT and Product organization.
  • Lead effort to comprehensively identify and remediate gaps in current processes, ensuring data integrity, system reliability and proper SOX/security/authorization access is maintained.
  • Lead, drive and refine systems where needed to support existing and new reporting requirements while maintain reporting continuity with minimal disruptions.
  • Provide stewardship and coaching for team of specialists and developers.
  • Manage support queues to ensure issues/requests are addressed promptly and within SLA.
  • Supervise various operational aspects of the finance and accounting systems in relation to queries, modifications, upgrades, system enhancements and data reconciliation.


Due to the growth plans of the company, the role may evolve over time. The candidate will have to be flexible to new challenges and responsibilities.
 

Key Skills, Experience and Personal Traits

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar role/Consulting with at least 3 years of supervisory experience leading development or technical teams
  • A demonstrable and extensive track record of implementing strategic enterprise ERP/EPM/TMS projects and systems implementations
  • Experience in Finance Operations and Accounting
  • Proficient in agile methodology, preferably a scrum master
  • Great interpersonal skills - ability to confidently interact within a multi-disciplined finance organization/ and with other relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to independently drive work forward and navigate in an ambiguous environment
  • Experience presenting to, and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Analytical and good problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail; Is data driven and process oriented
  • Able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Process improvement mindset and design thinking
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, MIS, or related discipline.
  • Business Intelligence / SQL / programming proficiency is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is a must, while fluency in Thai is an advantage.
