We are looking to recruit a Business Support Administrator to join our Business Support Team to deliver an efficient and effective service to our customer, North Somerset Council. The post will be within the Children’s Social Care Business Support Team and you will be required to support a range of services as part of a wider team delivering administrative and telephony support. A solid background in office work/administration is essential.
The role involves liaising with customers, internal and external, handling and resolving queries, meeting support, data input, diary management, minute taking and other various general administrate tasks. You will require a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office primarily Outlook, Excel and Word and have excellent minute taking skills. You will be organised have good communication skills, a good eye for detail, flexibility and a positive attitude is essential.
