We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in winning our largest and most complex deals along with helping shape our go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will be a key link between our prospects, product, and long-term success. Your primary focus will be achieving the "technical win" by collaborating with prospects, account executives, and internal stakeholders. You will highlight our product's value through tailored and engaging demos, document use cases and requirements, and develop technical solutions based on your deep knowledge of Salesforce, the industry, and our product.  You will set a new standard for effective product demonstrations, conduct thorough technical discovery and workshops, capture clear and comprehensive requirements, and provide valuable insights to address customer concerns through our solution and implementation strategies. Your influence will extend to shaping our product roadmap by using customer interactions to steer product strategy and drive the development of cutting-edge features. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and delivering tailored solutions to ensure clients achieve maximum value from AgentSync. Your success will be measured by increasing win rates, higher ACV, high customer satisfaction, low change order rates, and the alignment of customer expectations during implementations. What you’ll do:

  • Assist in shaping the development and execution of the technical selling strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives
  • Lead by example by helping support and guide the transition of our technical sales team to be a differentiator in the market and the reason we win deals
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales and VP of Professional Services to shape the go-to-market approach and drive successful customer engagements.
  • Create the design and delivery of tailored solutions for customers, ensuring they derive maximum value from AgentSync's offerings.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the pre-sales technical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement through leading by example.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the technical capabilities and benefits of AgentSync's solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, offering strategic guidance and insights to drive business growth and customer success.
  • Act as a key liaison between customers, prospects, and internal teams, effectively communicating feedback to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for new product features and enhancements based on market trends and customer insights.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • ~25% travel to Customers and conferences will be expected for this position

 

Your experience:

  • 10+ years in pre-sales engineering or technical sales roles within the software industry, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
  • Deep Salesforce expertise (5+ years preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in leading and closing complex technical sales opportunities, with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of software architecture, integration methodologies, and cloud computing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience in influencing product strategy and roadmap decisions based on customer feedback and market insights.
  • A strong track record of problem solving and a “roll up your sleeves” mentality

Salary: 

In accordance with Colorado law, the following represents AgentSync’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role, if hired in Colorado.

Denver/Boulder Metro

 $171,000 - $200,000 base plus quarterly variable

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in AgentSync’s equity program.
