About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Creative Strategist with a focus on deck design to join our esteemed marketing agency. This role requires strong design expertise and the ability to create exceptional visual designs for presentation decks. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of graphic design principles, have a proven track record of creating impactful deck designs, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Proficiency in layout design, typography, and visual storytelling is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand client objectives and develop design strategies that effectively communicate key messages through presentation decks.
  • Utilize your strong design skills to create visually appealing and impactful deck designs that captivate and engage audiences.
  • Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all deck designs, aligning with client guidelines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Translate complex concepts and data into visually compelling and easy-to-understand graphics, charts, and infographics within the deck.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, techniques, and software tools related to deck design, and incorporate innovative ideas into your work.
  • Work closely with clients or internal stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design assets seamlessly into presentation decks, working closely with content creators and other relevant team members.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, ensuring their work meets quality standards and project objectives.
  • Manage multiple deck design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to oversee the production process and ensure the final output aligns with the desired quality and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Creative Strategist, with a focus on deck design, preferably within a marketing agency or similar environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of deck design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation software like PowerPoint or Keynote.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, composition, balance, scale, and visual hierarchy, with a demonstrated ability to create designs that effectively communicate messages.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in design elements and formatting within presentation decks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in deck design.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and an understanding of how design can maximize engagement and impact within presentations.
