About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting to the senior accountant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the financial success of our organization. If you are detail-oriented, driven, and eager to grow in the field of accounting, we invite you to be part of our innovative and collaborative team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and records.
- Reconcile accounts and assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data.
- Assist with the maintenance of financial records and documentation for audits.
- Support the Accounting team in various tasks, such as expense tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Help with the implementation of accounting best practices and process improvements.
- Assist with the transition to a new ERP platform.
- Work on other ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Previous accounting internship or entry-level experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required
